The development of consciousness in humans is not like a thing ‘in here’, inside us, developing in a way that discovers more of the world ‘out there’; consciousness is both ‘in here’ and ‘out there’, and the way our consciousness ‘develops’ is more like tuning into an infinite field of possibilities. In this way, the ‘out there’ and the ‘in here’ are like a symbiotic process: we reach out and it reaches back to us. That’s reality: it is co-created with whatever consciousness perceives it.

Short, sweet, and to the point. Consciousness runs through everything including non-sentient objects. Everything is energy and is not created nor destroyed, only transferred.
